Amazing black metal released when the band had a lot to prove after their legendary debut album. Some of the songs on this EP are still very frequently played live by Mayhem. This release has truly stood the test of time and is a part of black metal's history. A must have for all true Mayhem fans! shadesofblack

More bleak, enveloping atmospheric black metal from the masters at the Vendetta label, “aevum” is both harrowing & strangely beautiful. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 30, 2019
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 18, 2019
